Re-Lacing A Corset
You may wish to re-lace your corset with a different color ribbon or cord. Our corsets are laced with 5 yards of lacing for sizes 20 & 22; 6 yards of lacing is used for sizes 24, 26, 28 & 30; 7 yards of lacing is used for sizes 34 & 38. You may use 6-8 yards if you prefer a longer bow. Longer lacing also makes it easier to hook the busk, particularly if you are just learning how to wear a corset.

When you re-lace:
1. Start underneath at the top of the corset and come up through the first set of grommets.

2. Make three sets of crossed Xs (if you are long waisted, make 4 sets of Xs).

The middle set of grommets will be used to form the loops for pulling and tightening your corset.

3. Continue to make 3 more sets of crossed Xs (if you are long-waisted, make 2 more sets of Xs).

You will end up with the lacing going over the last set of grommets and ending beneath the corset.

4. Tie the ends together tightly.
